TeachBahrain offers home schooling for two different academic boards – the American system and the British Curriculum. Student support is offered from primary level to university entry for both tracks and includes preparation classes for various university-related entry tests, such as SATs, ACTs, TOEFL and IELTS.
We also provide support in the admission process with personal statements and other application requirements.

School-life balance is vital for optimal academic functioning. Students often prioritise academics at the expense of personal factors, including relationships and self-care, leading to a decline in academic performance along with general health and well-being.
We start our classes at 10 am daily and end them at 4 pm to allow a better school-life balance, offering our students more personal and family time.
We also provide stress management sessions at timed intervals to ensure that our learners are not being overburdened.

We combine this with a personalized career management course that runs parallel to the academic subjects, helping students to decide on the career pathway they wish to pursue, and devising a plan towards its actualisation.
We also offer a detailed life skills course that encourages personal growth and development, and teaches the basics of time management, planning and development tools, effective learning methods and a variety of other competencies.
In addition, we provide a book club, fitness programmes and a wide range of boardgames, as well as scheduled field trips and outings.

We teach students to value learning by helping them discover their long term goals in life which leads them towards developing a strong work ethic.
Our high school students are taught how to write assignments and essays, conduct research and use referencing systems – academic tuition is not limited to the standardised tests and exams that are the focus of traditional schooling systems
We also institute Guided Academic Hours per week for all students for after-school independent learning and reflection. The topics are assigned based on individual student interests, and presentation style is left to the discretion of the learner.
Often, depending on the students preference, these tend to be more related to life skills than academic content.

Unlike a traditional schooling systems with strict protocols and minimal parental interference, we encourage parents to fully engage in their child’s schooling in order to be able to provide a healthy support environment at home.
