Geography
Overview
Geography is the study of the earth's physical properties, their locations and the human societies spread across it.
It also deals with the interaction of human cultures and the environments and the manner in which locations and places impact on human societies.
There are two branches in the study of geography: physical geography and human geography.
Who is this for?
Understanding how the world is physically constructed and defined, along with how we, as humans interact and live in the world's physical structure, is a subject of great interest to many people from all walks of life. However, there are those who may wish to pursue a career in subjects such as anthropology, sociology and world history in combination with physical and human geography that expand on the basic concepts of geography as a whole.
