Stop blaming children for your faults!
We all know that there are a number of studies which claim to have proved a link between watching violence and then imitating it. Children are curious by nature and they copy their role models- this is their natural way of learning.
Bobo Doll Experiment
In the 1960s, Bandura and his colleagues carried out experiments with preschool children which showed clearly that children were imitating aggressive behaviour of adults.
When children watched adults hitting an inflatable doll with a mallet, they imitated the exact behaviour when they were left alone with the doll.
Children are a product of their environment
Our generation as parents or role models are not doing a great job with children and then the easiest escape is to just blame their generation. But, no one takes the accountability of the sheer negligence adults show in their upbringing.
Tinder Lifestyle
Divorce is becoming a norm; the tinder life of today is making marriage look outdated but in all of this how are the children or their generation at fault?
We as adults are making poor life decisions, our lives today stand on four pillars: greed, lust, consumerism and selfishness. In which we marry for lust- tinder makes our marriage look less cool which leads to broken marriages and the end result is a generation full of mental illnesses.
Blame the children
We as bad role models are passing mental illnesses to the future generations and still at the end we have the audacity to blame everything on them. (Applause)
